Victoria Harbor skyscrapers and breathtaking views of the South China Sea might spring to mind when visualizing The Peak in Hong Kong. The historic hilltop district is also known to house the city’s affluent crowd on streets like Middle Gap Road, where the world’s most expensive four-bedroom home came to market for $610 million in 2018. Six years later, the two-story abode is now up for grabs at $154 million, nearly $500 million less than its original asking price—talk about a price cut. Among the 6,200-square-foot house are ample bedrooms and bathrooms, complemented by spacious living and dining areas. Manicured gardens and a private pool come into focus outdoors, as well as views of Aberdeen Country Park, one of Hong Kong’s oldest—revered for hiking and wildlife.
