The auction house’s New York Jewels sale on June 6 will feature a standout piece: a 29-carat Harry Winston diamond ring from 1967, expected to sell for $1.3 million to $1.9 million. This ring features a marquise-cut type IIa diamond of D color and VVS2 clarity, surrounded by tapered-baguette cut diamonds.

Founded in 1932, Harry Winston is known as the king of diamonds, sourcing jewels for royalty and Hollywood stars. Among the 177 lots on offer are more Harry Winston pieces: a 25.5-carat sapphire and diamond ring from 1968, estimated at $250,000 to $350,000, and a crossover diamond bracelet from 1963, estimated at $180,000 to $280,000.
Another highlight is a 28-carat diamond ring with an emerald-cut center stone, type IIa, D color, and VVS2 clarity, expected to fetch $1.2 million to $1.8 million. Additionally, a 12-carat fancy deep brownish pinkish orange diamond ring is estimated at $400,000 to $600,000.
While diamonds are the star, other gemstones also shine. A 5.5-carat Colombian emerald ring could sell for $100,000 to $150,000, and a Boucheron emerald and diamond brooch might reach $120,000. The brooch features a five-carat Colombian emerald surrounded by 3.8 carats of baguette-cut diamonds.
It’s an auction filled with accessories that anyone would be lucky to add to their jewelry box.
