Montage Deer Valley’s Burgers & Bourbon restaurant is upping the ante with its latest creation, the 1876 Burger Experience, priced at $1,876. This extravagant offering features an A5 Wagyu burger topped with Golden Osetra caviar, tempura king crab and asparagus, white truffle brie, and béarnaise sauce, all served on a gold-leaf bun.
Complementing the meal is a tumbler of Yellowstone Select Bourbon, a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée Champagne, and a Padrón Anniversario 1964 cigar. As if that wasn’t enough, diners will also enjoy a custom cowboy hat-making experience at Burns Saddlery, the oldest family-owned Western retailer in the world, established in 1876.
Montage Deer Valley joins the ranks of other restaurants offering extravagant burgers. In the Netherlands, a $6,000 burger called “the Golden Boy" featured A5 Wagyu, king crab, caviar, white truffles, Iberico ham, Dom Pérignon–battered onion rings, and Macallan BBQ sauce. In Japan, a $900 burger boasted foie gras and weighed 6.6 pounds, while Houston’s H Bar served a $1,600 “Black Gold" hamburger with A5 Wagyu, foie gras, shaved black truffles, and a caviar-infused bun, accompanied by fries and Champagne.
Despite its hefty price tag, the 1876 Burger Experience stands out among Burgers & Bourbon’s other offerings, which are mostly priced in the mid-$20 range. And with an excursion included, diners are in for an unforgettable culinary adventure.
