The pinnacle unit at One Beacon Court in Manhattan, designed by Cesar Pelli, is on the market for just shy of $17 million. Listed with Alen Moshkovich of Serhant, the palatial apartment at 151 East 58th Street offers close-up views of the supertall towers along Billionaires’ Row. The seller, Michael Fux, a self-described “mattress magnate" who founded Comfort Revolution and an avid supercar collector, is offloading the property.
Fux’s gleaming aerie sits on the top floor of the 54-story Midtown address, offering vistas from Central Park to the Hudson River, 1 World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, and the George Washington Bridge. The apartment features lofty 11-foot ceilings and wall-to-wall windows that maximize sweeping views throughout the 4,500 square feet, which includes three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.
The dwelling is entered via a grand foyer leading to a 1,000-square-foot great room. The space, wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows, has gallery-style walls for artwork, polished Crystal White slab floors, motorized window shades, custom Lutron lighting, and a high-end built-in sound system.
The all-white eat-in kitchen features a large peninsula and a windowed breakfast nook, with custom cabinetry, sleek countertops, and state-of-the-art stainless-steel appliances.
