The capital’s new leading icon of luxury accommodation and services
Finally, the long-awaited Park Hyatt Bangkok is scheduled to open its doors on May 12, 2017! Conveniently located on the top 27 floors of the popular Central Embassy retail complex, Park Hyatt Bangkok is sure to be the capital’s leading icon of luxury and premium accommodation and services.
Conceived as a private residence, Park Hyatt Bangkok is an oasis of calm amidst the bustling city, with clean, modern spaces infused by traditional Thai inspirations. The hotel is the creation of architect and design studios Amanda Levete Architects, based in London and Pi Design, based in Bangkok. On the exterior, Park Hyatt Bangkok showcases an unsymmetrical, curvilinear structure, meant to represent infinity. Notably, each level’s floor plan forms a 3D figure of eight. For a uniquely Thai experience, the whole design draws on motifs and patterns found in traditional Thai architecture.
Inside from levels 12 to 33, Park Hyatt Bangkok has 222 guestrooms, including 32 suites, all with panoramic views of Bangkok. Starting at an astonishing 48 square meters (517 sq ft), entry-level rooms here will rank among the largest in the city. A presidential suite is housed on level 33.
For culinary connoisseurs, Park Hyatt Bangkok also highlights a variety of bars and restaurants. Notable highlights include The Embassy Room, the main dining space, which presents Western and Asian-inspired cuisine and specializes in seafood and The Penthouse Bar & Grill, an entertainment complex designed to resemble a fictional penthouse of a well-traveled British-Thai collector of fine art and vintage cars.
Park Hyatt Bangkok has already started garnering recognition, being listed in Monocle magazine’s “Travel Top 50" and dubbed the “Most Anticipated Hotel Opening" in its latest December ’16 / January ’17 issue.
