Introducing the sixth jewel of Bvlgari’s hospitality collection, the Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai

The Bvlgari’s latest luxury hotel is located on the scenic banks of Suzhou Creek, just minutes from the Bund and Shanghai City Centre. Balancing nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture, the Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai combines a 48-story tower and the historical Chamber of Commerce building dating from 1916, all surrounded by lush gardens.

The hotel’s 82 elegant rooms, including 19 exquisite suites, are occupied the top eight floors of a 48-story tower offering the spectacular scenery of the iconic Bund and the picturesque curve of Huangpu River. Destined to become one of the premiere destinations in Shanghai, the top floor of the hotel houses the Il Bar, Il Ristorante Niko Romito, and La Terrazza rooftop restaurant which features a 360° breathtaking view of the Bund and Pudong’s skyline.

Adjacent to the hotel tower, the former Shanghai Chamber of Commerce now hosts a magnificent 480 square meter Bvlgari Ballroom with triple-height ceilings and the Chinese fine-dining restaurant Bao Li Xuan. A stunning 2,000 square meter BVLGARI Spa, indoor pool and fitness center offer a retreat to balance the body, mind and spirit in style while the Il Cioccolato, the first artisan chocolate boutique in China, presents the Bvlgari’s ‘chocolate gem’ creations.

As for all Bvlgari’s Hotels & Resorts, the Italian firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel was responsible for designing and renovating the iconic building to the architectural masterpiece by connecting Shanghai’s clandestine history with its moneyed present through the contemporary Italian glamour.
