Fred “Krugger" Bertrand นักออกแบบชาวเบลเยี่ยมที่สร้างรถแข่งด้วยมือ ได้สร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับตนเองในฐานะที่เป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญและเป็นนักแต่งรถจักรยานยนต์ โดยเขาได้มีโครงการล่าสุดคือ Fred Krugger FD และอาจเป็นผลงานชิ้นเอกของเขาเลยก็ว่าได้ โดยได้ผสมผสานทั้งองค์ประกอบการออกแบบในแบบสมัยก่อนและการออกแบบในปัจจุบัน เช่น เบาะนั่ง ขอบไม้ที่มีรูปลักษณ์ภายนอกบางเฉีย และเครื่องยนต์เบนท์ลีย์ 750 แรงม้า หลังจากทำงานอย่างหนักกว่าสองปีครึ่ง ในที่สุด Bertrand ก็ต้องแสดงให้โลกได้เห็นผลงาน Zoute Concours d’Elegance เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว
Fred “Krugger" Bertrand has quietly established himself as an adept customizer of motorcycles, but his latest project, the Fred Krugger FD, might just be his magnum opus. The Belgian designer made the racecar completely by hand, incorporating both old-school and forward-looking design elements, such as a wooden seat and trims with a streamlined exterior and 750 hp Bentley engine. After more than two and a half years of painstaking work, Bertrand finally got to show it off to the world at the Zoute Concours d’Elegance late last year.
