Joopiter ขยับขยายกิจการจากแฟชั่นและศิลปะสู่โลกของรถยนต์ ด้วยการประมูลรถยนต์ครั้งแรก “Joyride” เปิดตัวในวันพุธนี้ โดยร่วมมือกับ Morton Street Partners การประมูลจะนำเสนอยานยนต์ 11 คัน แต่ละคันล้วนมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว สะท้อนถึงความคิดสร้างสรรค์อันเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของ Joopiter และ Pharrell Williams

Joopiter is expanding its horizons beyond the realms of fashion and art, delving into the world of automobiles with its inaugural auto auction, “Joyride,” set to launch on Wednesday. In collaboration with Morton Street Partners, the auction will feature 11 unique vehicles, each guaranteed to make a statement, reflecting the creative flair synonymous with Joopiter and Pharrell Williams.
Named aptly, Joyride aims to showcase the fun and creative potential of automobiles, similar to the way streetwear, watches, and art captivate enthusiasts. The curated selection includes rare and custom vehicles from renowned brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, and Nissan, exemplifying the diverse and innovative nature of automotive design.
Among the standout offerings is Scarr Pimentel’s 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale, a street-legal rally legend finished in battleship grey with custom white wheels and performance upgrades, expected to fetch $80,000 to $100,000. Another highlight is a well-preserved example of De Tomaso’s final car, the Guarà, featuring a BMW V-8 engine and one of only 18 ever built, estimated to sell for $175,000 to $200,000.
NFL hall of famer Michael Strahan’s 1991 BMW 850i Dinan is also up for auction, described as “highly original” with a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-12 producing over 500 horsepower, valued at $60,000 to $80,000.
Other notable entries include a 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello, a 1993 Porsche 968 Club Sport, a 1993 VW Golf Country modified for off-road use, and a 1999 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG, among others.
Bidding for Joyride will commence on Wednesday, May 1, through the Joopiter website, and will run for one week until Wednesday, May 8. Car enthusiasts and collectors alike will have the opportunity to acquire these distinctive vehicles, each embodying the spirit of creativity and individuality celebrated by Joopiter and its collaborators.
