Scott Dunn Journeys by Land & Sea Program 2025

Choosing between an African safari or a private-island expedition? A new travel itinerary lets you pick both.

Luxury travel operator Scott Dunn (part of our Travel Masters) just introduced its new Journeys by Land & Sea program for 2025, which explores the Indian Ocean, the South China Seas, the Turquoise Coast, and the Caribbean. Like the company’s other trips, these itineraries have been thoughtfully curated and include custom, bespoke experiences crafted on each of the traveler’s interests and pace. Some of the trips on offer include an 18-night private tour from Bali to Phuket spent onboard the Ponant Le Lapérouse ship and sunrise hikes to the summit of Mount Batur. Then there’s the Barbados to Miami adventure with Explora Journeys, which lets you stop in St. Lucia and San Juan, enjoy a private rum tasting, and hop onto guided rain-forest tours.

The 18-day Spain to Italy journey with Silversea, meanwhile, will visit Barcelona before traveling along the Mediterranean coast to Rome, Mallorca, Portofino, and Naples. For those interested in attending the Monaco Grand Prix, Scott Dunn can secure guests VIP trackside access. On board, the boat offers full butler service and a free flow of premium wines. The trip wraps up at the port of Civitavecchia in Italy with a stay at the medieval Belmond Castello di Casole.

“The ultra-luxury cruise sector has undoubtedly boomed in the last year," Simon Lynch, Scott Dunn’s global product and strategy director, said in a press statement. “At Scott Dunn, we’re prioritizing the best-in-class small-ship cruising with the industry’s highest staff-to-guest ratios—notably Ponant, Explora, and Silversea. We’re taking away the sector’s overwhelming choice, we’re skipping group activities in exchange for totally exclusive experiences at each port, and we’re ensuring the standards expected in the hotels we partner with are reflected in the vessels we’ve chosen."

Finally, the 25-night itinerary from Zanzibar to Seychelles kicks off with a safari experience at the Nyasi Migrational Camp—a prime spot for seeing wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles. After you’ve gotten your wildlife fix, Scott Dunn will whisk you away to the private island of Mnemba, Zanzibar, for six nights at the andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge. From here, guests will board the Ponant Le Dumont-d’Urville to explore the remote and idyllic islands of the Indian Ocean before returning to land for a six-night stay at a beachfront villa at the North Island Lodge.

No matter which itinerary you chose, you’re in for quite the cruise.
