The Maserati MC20 has been around since the start of the decade, but this year will see the debut of its most intriguing variant yet, the all-electric Folgore. The Italian automaker has already shown it can build a sporty EV with Folgore versions of the GranTurismo and the GranCabrio—the latter of which is the world’s fastest zero-emission convertible—but the upcoming MC20 is easily the most exciting battery-powered model yet. The two-seater retains the ICE variant’s stylish exterior but features a tri-motor electric powertrain, nearly identical to the one in the all-new Alfa Romeo Stradale 33. The MC20’s drive unit will “only" produce 700 hp, compared to the 750 hp made by its cousin, but that should more than enough for any driver out there.
