McLaren W1

The McLaren F1 established the blueprint for the modern-day supercar and its latest descendent, the W1, is ready to push things even further. The automaker’s third, once-in-a-generation “1" model is one of the more aggressively styled options in its class, thanks to a sharp aerodynamic design that includes a radical Active Long Tail spoiler coming off the rear. But McLaren knows that a supercar needs to do more than just turn heads, even if the W1 will have little trouble doing that. The vehicle’s all-new hybrid powertrain pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 and a motorsports-grade electric motor and can produce a combined 1,258 hp and 988 ft lbs of torque. With all that power at your disposal, you’ll have be able to hit 60 mph and expect to top out well over 200 mph, which is exactly what you should expect from a vehicle that costs $2.7 million.
