It’s little wonder that Panda marble—a striking and luxurious material known for its high contrast and bold veining—is used for dramatic effect in yacht interiors. Aboard Mangusta Yacht’s GranSport 54 She’s A 10 Too, it takes a starring role in the owner’s suite by framing the freestanding bathtub and basin with a dramatic marble surround, as well as forming a statement bar and floor in the main deck salon. The natural stone, defined by a white base with irregular black veining, is primarily quarried in China’s Sichuan province. The Atlantique 43 superyacht Frette launched by Columbus Yachts in 2024 also employed it to good effect, with a Panda marble dining table on the upper deck.
