Phuket-based luxury yachting company, Lee Marine on Southeast Asia’s dynamic boating scene
The future looks bright for superyachts in Southeast Asia as the region currently ranks as the third largest cruising ground in the world with countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia leading the charge. The region is fast catching up to the more established locations such as the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
One of the main catalysts of this trend is Lee Marine, Thailand’s leading luxury yachting company, staffed by a Team possessing years of experience in matching the right boat for your personal requirements.
Lee Marine encompasses a superyacht division, and is the Thailand distributor for new yacht builds such as Italy’s Ferretti Group including: Cantiere delle Marche (CdM), Pershing, Riva, CRN, Custom Line, Ferretti Yachts, and Australia’s Riviera.
At the inaugural Thailand Yacht Show (TYS) held earlier this year, Lee Marine, as the largest exhibitor, showcased 850 feet of yachts worth over €20 million with choices that included new and pre-owned boats such as the Ferretti Groups’ Pershing 92, 72 and 46, Ferretti 731 and 720, Riviera 48 Flybridge, Maiora 103, Sunseeker Manhattan 63 and 73 and the 35m Custom Power Catamaran.
The company was founded in 1997 by Joshua Lee, and has since then, transformed into one of the major players in the industry. It comprises sales brokers, after sales experts, boat managers, crew and administration staff, all of whom are experts in and have insider knowledge of their respective fields. As Southeast Asia’s leading yacht services provider, Lee Marine and its experienced team are best equipped to offer the most informed know-how if you’re thinking of purchasing, selling or building a yacht.
Lee, the company’s Founder and Managing Director says that, “the company’s superyacht division is developing nicely. We are currently working on a 69.5 metre Feadship new construction project with an expected delivery date in 2017. Also collaborating in the project is De Voogt Naval Architect, and London-based interior designers Redman Whiteley Dixon. A first-class team is in place, and has been working for over a year on a seamless and pleasing build process for a very happy owner. The yacht will be quite distinctive with many long range features which may surprise some corners of the market."
“We feel that we are just touching on what is constantly growing into a bigger, more exciting Asian market. We nurture our company carefully, keeping sharp focus on quality care and our client’s ultimate satisfaction," explains Lee.
