In a world first, this eco-resort in northern Thailand is giving guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the night observing the country’s majestic elephants in their natural habitat.
For a singular experience in the green heart of Mother Nature, it’s hard to beat the newest attraction at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort in northern Thailand: two Jungle Bubbles that afford wide-angle views of elephants during the day and the starry sky at night.
Made out of high-tech polyester, these ‘igloos’ are equipped with air-conditioning, a king-sized bed, minibar, private shower and an indoor seating area, spread over 22sqm. The bubbles are transparent, but the bathrooms concealed, and they sit on raised wooden platforms to amplify the sounds and maximise the sights of the forest.
Starting at 17,700 baht per night, the Jungle Bubble experience can be done as an overnighter in addition to a regular stay.
