After Azimut launched its Seadeck series, the Seadeck 6 and Seadeck 7, the two vessels took sustainability to the extreme. Not only did they have running surfaces that were designed around both speed and fuel-efficiency, but the Seadeck 7 was the world’s first yacht combining hybrid propulsion with Volvo’s IPS system. The Seadeck 6 Sundeck’s world premiere in Palm Beach adds an upper flybridge and second helm to the 58-footer, for boaters who like open-air driving. Plus, a flybridge would prove more popular in South Florida’s sunny climates. Designer Alberto Mancini’s “Fun Island" is a multi-tiered cockpit that folds outwards and then drops down to the water for quick access. Think of the new version as a Seadeck 6 with an extra layer.
