London, April 16, 2025 – Launching on April 24, BAR45 at 45 Park Lane introduces Simplicity, a new cocktail concept that pairs minimalist aesthetics with intricate depth and unexpected flavour profiles.
Created by bar manager Enrico Perri and assistant bar manager Mario Gualtieri, Simplicity invites guests to explore six curated flavour profiles – Crisp, Rich, Umami, Negroni, Rare and Zero. Guests are guided by flavour rather than detailed descriptions, with a short series of questions helping the bar team tailor the perfect serve.
Though elegantly understated in appeareance, each cocktail is created using advanced, often lesser known techniques such as Greek yoghurt washing, as showcased in the Bacchus Kiss, and sous pression freezing, used in Pick Me Up. These innovative processes enhance flavour and texture without overcomplicating the experience.
Simplicity can be enjoyed alongside BAR45’s signature food menu of small and large bites, sliders, sandwiches and dishes from the grill. Cocktails are priced at £24.
SIMPLICITY FLAVOUR PROFILES
The Crisp selection features minimalist cocktails with bright, clean flavours, such as the We Paloma, a refreshing mix of Maestro Dobel Diamante tequila, kiwi, kaffir lime leaf soda and Italicus.
For those more indulgent flavours, the Rich category delivers cocktails inspired by natural depth and intensity. Highlights include the Banana President, a luxurious mix of Mount Gay XO rum, banana, cream sherry and Cocchi Extra Dry vermouth.
Those drawn to more savoury notes will enjoy the Umami collection, presenting innovative combinations like the Italo-Samba, a blend of Yaguara Cachaça, tomato, strawberry, and Barolo Chinato vermouth.
Honouring the timeless aperitif, the Negroni section reinvents the classic in unique ways, from the rich Coconut and Sesame Negroni, made with The Botanist gin, coconut and sesame vermouth and Campari.
The Rare section revives forgotten classics with vintage-inspired creations. Cocktail aficionados will appreciate the Hanky Punky, elevated by a rare touch of 1960 Fernet Branca.
For those seeking an alcohol-free option, the Zero category delivers the same level of artistry, including the Peach Temple offering a refreshing mix of Everleaf Mountain, peach, and lemonade.
