However, CD sales saw an increase in 2023, particularly as merchandise at concerts, according to Billboard. Recognizing this trend, Bang & Olufsen aims to provide a solution for enthusiasts seeking a quality CD player.
As part of its Recreated Classics Program, Bang & Olufsen has meticulously refurbished 200 original Beosystem 9000 CD players, which debuted nearly 30 years ago in 1996. Each unit underwent a comprehensive restoration process, with functional components refurbished and non-working parts replaced.
The reborn Beosystem 9000c retains the essence of the original design by David Lewis, with some minor adjustments to enhance its aesthetics.
