The new BMW R 18 is a model unlike any the manufacturer has created. The R 18 is well fitted with electronic staples such as traction control, proprietary Motor Slip Regulation, ABS and three adjustable ride modes. At 1,802 cc, the power plant makes 91 hp (at 4,750 rpm) and 116 ft lbs of torque, with 110 ft lbs available at only 2,000 rpm for massive immediate torque, gently release the clutch in third gear with no throttle and the motor will simply move the bike along.
