On December 8, an unprecedented concept store will be inaugurated in Bangkok’s Ploenchit district.NamedDior Gold House, this unique location will evolve according to the seasons and collections, and constitutes an extraordinary stopover on theDior Around the World odyssey.

Merging cultures and savoir-faire, Dior Gold House invites visitors to a bewitching immersion in a reinvented“kingdom of dreams". As a wonderful preamble, its spectacular structure reproduces the façade of the townhouse at 30, avenue Montaigne, the cradle of Parisian haute couture, where Monsieur Dior founded his Maison in 1946. Set amidst paradisical gardens where a profusion of botanical references flourish, this new space for all things possible unfurls over around 1,000 square meters and is adorned entirely in gold – Dior’s eternal code – thanks to the mosaic and masterful techniques deployed by Thai artisans, an embodiment of the dialogues woven with the plural heritage of this captivating country.

Indoors, the House’s different worlds are showcased, from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s ready-to-wear to Kim Jones’ menswear, including shoes, accessories, bags, jewelry and the Dior Maison lines devoted to tableware. The atmosphere is refined, ultra-contemporary and sublimated by natural materials such as bamboo, wood and raffia, where Dior symbols shine, from the lucky star totoile de Jouy, or the essential. Plan de Paris print.

Reflecting Christian Dior’s fascination with art, Dior Gold House exhibits works by nine emblematic Thai artists. Upon entering the building’s verdant surroundings, visitors are greeted with installations by Boonserm Premthada – made from elephant footprints; Saran Yen Panya of 56thStudio – who has reinterpreted for Dior the iconic tuk-tuk of Bangkok streets, while sculptures by Wishulada Panthanuvongsubtly decorate the interiors. Extending the enchantment, armchairs by Eggarat Wongcharit punctuates one of the boutique’s rooms and furniture by the Sumphat duo – Rush Pleansuk and Philippe Moisan, strikes a perfect balance of the beautiful and the functional, each piece given a singular identity. As a final surprise, artists Vassana Saima and Savin Saima of Vassana have made a series of Lady Diorbags out of bamboo evoking traditional floral art, presented in a dedicated space.

As an exquisite interlude, Café Dior offers a delicate pause suffused with delectable elegance, a veritable voyage of the senses. Combining gourmet pleasures with the French art of entertaining, it unveils an exclusive scenography by Korakot Aromdee, which reinterprets enchanting flora and fauna in bamboo. The plants, flowers and birds in this dreamlike drawing seem to come to life, as if in three dimensions.

An exceptional setting for three-starred Chef Mauro Colagreco, who composes a delicious score for a sweet menu inspired by nature – so dear to Christian Dior – as much as by the House’s couture legacy.

An address like no other, where Dior’s creative effervescence is expressed more than ever. Powerful new connections between French and Thai excellence through bold imagination.
