An exclusive destination where Asia’s leading tastemakers will gather for rare spirits, world-class dining and meaningful connection
(Singapore) July, 2025 – This December, Vanta will throw open its doors in the newly transformed MacDonald House on Orchard Road, set to introduce what promises to be Singapore’s most ambitious private members’ club to date.
Emerging from a $30 million renovation spanning 16,000 square feet, and two years of high-concept development guided by extensive design refinement, cultural research, and strategic collaboration, Vanta will be brought to life with the aim of reflecting the evolving values of Asia’s new tastemakers.
Every detail, from the club’s architectural layout to its invitation-only membership, will embody the ethos of purposeful curation. Vanta is envisioned not simply as a destination, but as a community for those poised to shape the future of business and culture.
Inside, members will step into a striking two-level dining and lounge salon where contemporary flair and timeless elegance converge – Italian marble, quartz finishes, and bespoke materials setting a sophisticated tone.
Towering over the main salon, a mezzanine will offer panoramic views and secluded enclaves for discreet meetings or moments of quiet reflection. Additional highlights will include private dining rooms for immersive tasting experiences, and a state-of-the-art AI golf simulator for both recreation and friendly competition.
A defining feature of Vanta will be its innovative approach to food and drink. Acclaimed Michelin-starred Consulting Chef Alvin Leung will curate the bold culinary programme, while the beverage selection promises to be equally extraordinary. Members will gain access to an ever-evolving collection of specially sourced, investment-grade whiskies, rare single malts and collectible bottlings seldom encountered by even seasoned connoisseurs.
The cellar will feature storied vintages and limited-release wines from the world’s most prestigious vineyards. Sake enthusiasts can discover small-batch brews, aged koshu, and coveted junmai daiginjo from Japan’s legendary producers.
This signature whisky, wine, and sake programming is set to stand as a cornerstone of the club’s identity, not simply a complement to dining. Exclusive tastings of elusive spirits, private masterclasses with globally celebrated distillers and sommeliers, and immersive exploration of rare sakes will regularly connect enthusiasts with makers and experts at the pinnacle of their craft.
Beyond the bottle, Vanta’s calendar will be filled year-round with art exhibitions, intimate talks, and cultural salons, each shaped by collaborations with renowned partners and brought to life by a team whose commitment to hospitality is unwavering. At the heart of Vanta are the people: a carefully chosen constellation of leaders from technology, fashion, finance, media, and the arts, gathered not simply to socialise, but to exchange ideas and shape conversations that matter.
“Vanta represents the intersection of influence, culture and connection within Singapore’s dynamic landscape. We aren’t just creating a beautifully designed space," said Wayne Lin, CEO of Vanta. “We’re cultivating an ecosystem where leaders, creators, and investors come together to spark meaningful ideas and lasting impact. Our vision is for Vanta to become the epicentre of innovation and cultural exchange in Asia."
“At Vanta, exclusivity isn’t about status – it’s about significance," Lin added. “We’ve designed this club for individuals who are actively shaping conversations and leading change across industries. It will be a place where connoisseurs, especially those with a passion for whisky, wine and sake, can connect, collaborate, and define what’s next for business and culture."
With doors opening this December, Vanta is set to usher in a new era for private clubs in the region, where heritage meets innovation, where the people and the experience are every bit as rarefied as the bottles behind the bar.
