Bangkok, 17 March 2025 – The “KAWS:HOLIDAY" tour continues its global journey, making its next stop in Thailand after recent celebrated appearances in Le Brassus, Switzerland and the Prambanan temple complex in Indonesia. Working again with long-time partner AllRightsReserved (ARR), KAWS presents the latest chapter in the tour, inviting audiences to pause, reflect, and experience art in a fresh setting. This stop, in partnership with local partner Central Embassy, strengthens its connection with the Thai community, adding a unique cultural element to the experience. The exact location of the sculpture will soon be revealed.
Renowned for its rich heritage, Thailand is a land where ancient traditions harmonize with modern creativity. The country offers a profound cultural richness that makes it an ideal setting for this latest stop in the “KAWS:HOLIDAY" journey.
True to “KAWS:HOLIDAY"’s spirit, the sculpture is posed in a contemplative posture—inviting visitors to take a moment to unwind and reflect.
Since its debut in 2018, the “KAWS:HOLIDAY" has traveled across continents, leaving its mark on iconic locations around the world, including Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bristol, Singapore, Melbourne, Yogyakarta, the scenic Changbai Mountain, and even outer space. Most recently, it has journeyed from Shanghai to Le Brassus Switzerland, and now to Thailand—continuing its exploration of the interplay between art, environment, and cultural heritage.
This exhibition also highlights Thailand’s expanding presence in the global art scene. KAWS collaborates with his long-time partner, AllRightsReserved, in collaboration with local partner Central Embassy. With support from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), KAWS:HOLIDAY THAILAND further strengthens Bangkok’s reputation as a global hub for international events.More than just an exhibition, this initiative connects art enthusiasts worldwide, seamlessly blending creativity, location, and heritage to offer an unforgettable artistic experience.

In terms of government support, the project has received backing from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok, who stated, “Bangkok is proud to fully support the KAWS:HOLIDAY THAILAND project.
