This year will see Koenigsegg do something no one thought the Swedish marque was capable of; build a vehicle with room for the whole family. That’s right, Christian Koenigsegg’s latest creation, the Gemera, is the exceeding rare supercar—or “mega-grand tourer"—that has a roomy cabin, specifically one that can comfortably seat four full-sized adults (it also features two cup holders for each person). Of course, a spacious interior is far from all that’s notable about the ultra-sleek coupe. The Gemera is also powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 paired with a radial-flux electric motor (sadly, a planned three-cylinder version of the car was shelved last year). The duo combines to pump out a hair-raising 2,300 hp. Expect the new model to make it onto the list of the world’s fastest production cars too. The company expects it to hit 60 mph in under two seconds and reach a top speed of 248 mph.
