If you’re familiar with McLaren you know how important the marque’s 1 cars are. The first, the F1, helped define the modern supercar, while the P1, somehow managed to be an able follow-up. The just-unveiled W1 has a lot of expectations to live up to, but the early signs suggest it’s more than up to the task. It has a sharp and aggressively styled exterior that gives it the look of a Decepticon, but the real headline feature is its hybrid powertrain. The setup combines a twin-turbocharged V-8 with an electric motor. Together, the pair pumps out 1,275 hp, allowing the car to hit 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and top out at 213 mph.
