There’s no better place to get your fashion fix than France.
Luxury tour operator Red Savannah is rolling out a Parisian getaway specifically designed for style enthusiasts. Of course, The City of Light has tons of things going for it, from its architectural landmarks to fine-dining restaurants. But Red Savannah’s latest itinerary will take travelers to exhibits from haute couture legends such as Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior.
The chic, three-night journey will include timed tickets to Du Cœur à la Main, the new Dolce & Gabbana exhibition at the renovated Grand Palais that opened in January. Florence Müller curated the show, which runs until March 31 and made its debut at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. The art and fashion historian worked closely with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to bring the exhibit to life. Spread over three floors, the event has 200-plus one-off creations, 300 handmade accessories, and 130 original artworks on display.
In addition to visiting Du Cœur à la Main, you’ll also get tickets to explore La Galerie Dior, a multi-level museum that pays homage to the many eras of the French fashion house. La Galerie Dior at 30 Avenue Montaigne is tucked into the label’s flagship, which underwent a two-year renovation and offers up products, fashion garments, jewelry, handbags, shoes, and more. Inside, the gallery is spread out across 13 themed salons, each showcasing the evolution of Dior over the last 70-plus years. During the trip, the Esprit Saint Germain boutique hotel will serve as home base. Included in your stay is daily breakfast, a welcome cheese plate, and a complimentary in-room bar.
If you still haven’t gotten your fill of fashion legends, Red Savannah suggests pairing the exhibition with its Coco Chanel itinerary. The experience is meant to chronicle the designer’s life and kicks off in the seaside resort town of Deauville where she opened her first store in 1913. Here, travelers will have the opportunity to attend a polo match at a beloved Normandy racecourse. Then, it’s off to Paris for a stay on the Rue Cambon, not far from the original Chanel boutique, before finally heading to Nice on the French Riviera, where Coco often visited and even owned a villa.
