Embrace the spirit of the Year of the Serpent and the hotel’s unique celebratory occasion, a trunk-inspired mooncake box celebrates its heritage of European luxury and Asian flourish to impress everyone.
This year, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is delighted to join this time-honoured celebration with its distinctive mooncake flavours; ‘Monthong Durian’, offers a luscious filling made with golden-fleshed durian from Chanthaburi, which is renowned for its superior richness and aroma. ‘Pandan with Macadamia Nut’ combines aromatic pandan leaves from Ratchaburi’s local farmers with buttery macadamia nuts grown in the highlands of Tak province in the northern part of Thailand. ‘Azuki Red Bean’ features a soft, subtly sweet filling made from antioxidant-rich red beans sourced from Hokkaido. ‘Lotus Seed with Salted Egg Yolk’ reimagines a timeless classic, enriched with a premium organic egg yolk for a delicate, savoury balance in every bite.
A symbol of familial love, heritage and craftsmanship, the Mid-Autumn season brings every family member and loved ones in a unity and togetherness. The ‘Bloom Under Moonlight Mooncake Collection’ is presented in a box of four pieces, masterfully hued in Kempinski ‘stellar blue’ and patterned with lotus and moon motif in radiant gold, echoing themes of purity, unity and grace. The motif also conveys our respect towards the eminent history of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok as the hotel’s land was once a part of Sra Pathum Palace during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) of the Kingdom of Siam.
