The fireworks display at the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2025, a monumental countdown celebration showcasing the Best of Thailand and the Best of the World, continuing to uphold the concept of “eco-friendly fireworks." This approach emphasizes the use of natural materials to ensure sustainable environmental conservation, reducing the impact of fireworks on the environment, being eco-friendly, and adhering to proper environmental management practices. The eco-friendly fireworks are produced using Thai sticky rice, a symbol of Thailand’s renowned culinary heritage, representing the nation as it joins in the joyful festivities.
The invention and development of the fireworks components using Thai sticky rice, a one-of-a-kind innovation in the world, help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and greenhouse gases. The smoke produced from these fireworks is less than that of conventional fireworks. This innovation blends creativity and unique technical expertise, resulting from a collaboration between Thai creative teams and Japanese experts in pyrotechnics. This masterpiece is crafted under the supervision of master fireworks director Okuchi Yoshimasa.
