Wild child: meet the new Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy

Imagine the watchmaking world as a vast savannah—a breathtaking expanse teeming with horological wonders. Amidst this wilderness, there’s us—Very Rare by Nature. As you know, we don’t choose to simply exist; we thrive in that untouched space nurtured by elegance and innovation.

Our latest creation embodies this spirit perfectly. Meet a creature of extraordinary power and beauty: the new Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy. Bold yet utterly resplendent, it stands as a testament to our philosophy—a masterpiece engineered to endure the elements and bask in admiring glances.

Adapted to the wild

Every species must adapt to survive, and the Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy is no exception. With its 5N red gold case that’s water-resistant to 12 ATM, this piece is equally at home on land and in water. The dial, in a rich Burgundy fumé, shimmers like the setting sun over the savannah, capturing and refracting light with effortless grace. Its khaki strap, reminiscent of explorers’ gear, adds an adventurous spirit to this highly refined timepiece.

The heart of perfection

In the wild, precision is survival. Within the Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy beats the HMC 805 automatic calibre, a marvel of modern engineering. Its flying tourbillon, featuring a double hairspring from our sister company Precision Engineering AG, ensures exceptional timekeeping performance. Thanks to this pair of matched hairsprings, the movement of the point of gravity on each spring when it expands is corrected, significantly improving accuracy and isochronism in continual pursuit of perfection. The dual springs also reduce the effect of friction normally experienced with a single hairspring, improving isochronism even further. The unique design of the watch means that the tourbillon is an interchangeable module, assembled and regulated independently of the movement via a simple Plug & Play system, making servicing simple and efficient.

A design evolved for excellence

Just as nature refines its creations over millennia, we continually evolve our craft. The Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy introduces the updated HMC 805 calibre, replacing its predecessor, the HMC 804. Its partially skeletonised bridges and anthracite grey finish offer an intricate glimpse into the watch’s soul, while the bevelled rotor ensures nothing obstructs the view of its inner workings. Despite its complexity, this movement guarantees a power reserve of three days, ready to weather the demands of even the most intrepid adventurer.

On the watchmaking savannah, only the rarest creations leave a lasting mark. The Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy is one such masterpiece—bold, precise, and breathtakingly beautiful. It is an invitation to explore the wild unknown and embrace life’s challenges with grace and resilience. Rare by nature, it embodies our very spirit: where tradition meets innovation and freedom reigns supreme. Go on, step into the wild with the Pioneer Tourbillon Burgundy.
